Day 85 - Friday, October 10, 1997

The loud rain and heavy winds kept us up late the night before, so we crashed today. This place has a hot tub, so naturally we hit it. The people here are really into chlorine - all evening we were itching from the chemical burns!

We decided not to stay at this RV park any longer. The site they gave us is really lousy. We're in a corner of the parking lot next to the stairs that lead up to the bathrooms and playground. This makes Buck very tense with people walking by so close to our trailer. He's been growling and barking a lot. In fact we saw him knife an old lady and roll her for change.
