Day 57 - Friday, September 12, 1997Sawtelle Mountain RV Park, Island Park, Idaho - Clouds and cold have decided to stay with us! It got down to about 40º last night. "No big deal," you say? Let's see you get up at 3:00 A.M. and walk 50 yards in 40º rainy weather just to take a wee-wee!We decided to huddle in The Den today instead of cruising Yellowstone. It's just no fun in that kind of weather. By late evening we were getting stir crazy, so we drove to West Yellowstone to grab some McDonalds. But being in a tourist town the prices were 20-30% higher. And they didn't offer any of the special deals we keep seeing on TV. So instead of getting hosed at Mickey Dee's, we decided to go to Gusher's Pizza. There we had a delicious dinner. That was the highlight of our day. We're just a few miles away from one of the greatest parks in the world and pizza is the highlight for our day. Kinda makes you think, doesn't it?
