Pettitbone RV Resort, La Crosse, Wisconsin - Can you believe it? We are camping on the banks of the Mississippi River!! We drove through the rain for several hours to get here, but we made it. Oddly enough, we had to cross over the river into Minnesota, then come back across into Wisconsin to get to the campground. We are on the west channel of the river.
The skeeters here are a pain in the exposed skin! They flock around Buck in search of his tasty dog blood. Once they realize they can't get through his thick fur, they move on to Jim. Once they realize they can't get through his thick fur, they move on to Marci.
