Grand Inn RV Park, Peoria, AZ - We drove down into Phoenix to check it out. It's very flat. There were only a dozen or so high rises. With so much land there's not much need for tall buildings. In fact there's so much room on the sidewalks here people crawl and slither instead of walk!
We checked out the Phoenix rush hour. It was more like a go a little faster hour. Traffic was not bad at all...it was easier to get around than on a Sunday afternoon back home. There was a jackknifed tractor trailer in a tunnel on the interstate and that only held us up a few minutes. What a treat!!
We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Safeway - a precooked turkey, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberries, pumpkin pie, and a waiter in a black tie!! We plan to eat it here in The Den (the dinner, not the waiter).
