Day 128 - Saturday, November 22, 1997

Motel 6, Sun City, AZ - We left Sin City and headed for Phoenix. Due to some serious road construction, we had to take a roundabout route. We also left kinda late because we slept in to recover from Vegas. And we lost an hour changing time zones into Arizona. So instead of hitting a campground late at night, we hit this motel.
We watched Dear God on HBO, then went to the local Denny's for dinner. It turned out to be the only Denny's we've ever seen that was not open 24 hours. Just our luck!! So we had pizza delivered. After wolfing down an unlimited toppings large thin crust, we noticed something awry outside. It seems that there were four cop cars and a taxi cab in the motel parking lot. We saw a guy get frisked, but he wasn't arrested. We have no idea what happened. Maybe somebody called the cops on us since Jim knifed the pizza delivery boy and Marci rolled him for change.
