Day 118 - Wednesday, November 12, 1997
|
Castaic RV Park, Castaic CA - Today we drove to Santa Barbara (distance cousin of Santa Claus). We found ourselves in an oddly
congested area where other drivers seemingly have no respect for our "Travelers in a Wagon Towing a Pop-up Trailer So Give Us A Break" bumper sticker. We found the campground that had a "Really Crammed with Small Sites Fifteen Feet From the Highway" sign in their office. We turned around and got back on the highway.
We found a friendly campground thirty miles outside of Los Angeles. It seems the further away we get from the coast the nicer things seem to be. Although the ocean is pretty, the crowds make it hard to enjoy.
